H2 PURIFIER - QUANTITY REQUIRED: 1 UNIT HYDROGEN PURIFIER DIFFUSION MODULAR HP200 120V FOR AIXTRON 200/4HT SILICON CARBIDE EPITAXIAL GROWTH SYSTEM AIXTRON MODEL NUMBER: 20200281 NASA/GRC intends to purchase this item from Aixtron Corp. THIS IS A SOLE SOURCE. Due to the physical size and complexity of the electrical and physical connections the replacement purifier must be identical to the purifier that is currently installed. Modification of the Aixtron CVD system to accept a different purifier would seriously jeopardize the safety of operation and contaminate the purity of the existing gas lines. The physical mounting of the purifier module and control/safety circuitry connections and data format outputs must precisely conform to the existing Aixtron 200/4HT connections and data format. Aixtron manufactures purifier modules with the necessary proprietary features. The provisions and clauses in the RFQ are those in effect through FAC 97-27. The NAICS Code and the small business size standard for this procurement are 334516 and 500, respectively. The DPAS rating for this procurement is DO-c9.
