SYNOPSIS DESCRIPTION: The Naval Surface Warfare Center – Panama City, Panama City, Florida intends to solicit Cochran Consulting Inc 1758 Firman Dr, Richardson, Tx 75081-1823, on a sole source basis for the acquisition of multifunction dive computers. These dive computers are the only dive computers that are approved for military use list for diver equipment which meet the procedures specified under SS521-AA-MAN-010, U. S. Navy Diving and Manned hyperbaric Certification Manual. Substitution of similar materials and components are not authorized without the express permission of NAVSEA 00C and requires an approved Departure from Specification. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
