The MICC Fort Hunter Liggett requires the following items, Purchase Description Determined by Line Item, to the following:
LI 001, Refrigerated Trailer Rentals - Warrior 91 13-01 FFP Request non-personnel contract for 16 each, 53-foot long single temperature refrigerated trailers for storage of rations and ice to support or ground troops for Warrior Exercise 91 13-01 at Fort Hunter Liggett, California. Trailers are to be delivered to TISA, located at BLDG 903, Camp Roberts, CA, NLT 5PM PST, 1 March 2013. Arrangements for delivery should be coordinated via telephone to schedule exact delivery location and time. Price per unit must include fuel top-off at delivery location, mileage, usage hours, damage waiver insurance, delivery and pickup charges. Reffueling is the responsibility of the government agency. Vendor is responsible for all repair and/or replacement cost due to malfunction/in-operable systems. Repair or replacement must be completed within 2-8 hours from notification of the short comings. All normal maintenance/repairs, other than major damages are the responsibility of the contractor. Period of performance (POP): 1 March 2013 thru 31 March 2013. Equipment Condition: New equipment only. No remanufactured or "gray market" items. All items must be covered by manufacturer's warranty. For this solicitation, MICC Fort Hunter Liggett intends to conduct an online competitive reverse auction to be facilitated by the third-party reverse auction provider, FedBid, Inc. FedBid has developed an online, anonymous, browser based application to conduct the reverse auction. An Offeror may submit a series of pricing bids, which descend in price during the specified period of time for the aforementioned reverse auction. MICC Fort Hunter Liggett is taking this action in an effort to improve both vendor access and awareness of requests and the agency's ability to gather multiple, competed, real-time bids.All responsible Offerors that respond to this solicitation MUST submit the pricing portion of their bid using the online exchange located at www.FedBid.com.
