***Note*** This modification is to correct the response date to 10/10/07 Description: The subject requirement is for the acquisition of 19 NSNs, all within the 4130-01-537 stock class and ending with: 7979, 7934, 8689, 8301, 8684, 8725, 8722, 8718, 8716, 8751, 8712, 8707, 8706, 8702, 8698 ,8696, 8694, 8692 ,8690. Total units to be procured are 785 The 19 NSNs are ECU RESET maintenance parts kits. Each kit contains 7-16 P/N items and will be procured in accordance with Government drawings. The FOB point is destination. Inspection/acceptance requirements will be noted on the RFP, but are anticipated to be at source. The solicitation is for a firm, fixed price contract awarded on an all or nothing basis, and is 100% set aside for small business concerns. Note to nonmanufacturers: to be qualified to meet the size qualifications your company size must not exceed 500 employees. In addition, more then 50 percent of the value of the kit and its contents must be manufactured by small business concerns in accordance with the NAICS code for the individual items. All responsible sources may submit an offer for consideration. The evaluation of offers will utilize Best Value procedures. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of factors listed in the solicitation.
