The solicitation N00421-14-T-0025 is issued as a synopsis/solicitation. The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis, and to solicit and negotiate the proposed purchase order on a brand name or equal basis, under the authority implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 52.211-6. Product must be Unitron or equal.The required material must be compatible in all aspects (form, fit and function) with existing systems presently installed. (see minimum requirements attached). The requirement is a total Set-Aside for small business under the authority of FAR Part 52.219-6, FAR Part 12, and FAR Part 13. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to submission of an offer to be considered for award of any DoD contract. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. All proposals received by 12-Nov-2013 by 8:00 am EST will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Used or refurbished items will not be accepted.
