This solicitation is for a multiple-year Indefinite Delivery Purchase Order (IDPO) for the acquisition of the following: 6140-01-162-0586 (Battery Storage), 6140-01-346-8316 (Battery Storage), 6140-01-450-1686 (Battery Storage), and 6140-01-518-5195 (Battery Storage) not to exceed 60 months or $150,000.00, whichever occurs first. Require delivery day is 90 ADO. FOB origin and inspection/acceptance at destination is required for CLIN 0001 through CLIN 0003 and inspection/acceptance at origin is required for CLIN 0004. This solicitation will be available for download on the DLA Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS) at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP/ on or about 10/29/2013; however, **DIBBS quotations are not acceptable for this solicitation.** Quotes must be submitted on hard copy of the RFQ and emailed to [email protected].

All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered.

This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business concerns.

The Small Business size standard is 500 employees.

Drawings/specifications would not be available through DIBBS.

The total duration (base years) shall not exceed 5 years.

This proposed procurement includes a family group of items within the Federal Supply Class 6140.

This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestricted technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1). Approved source are: Power Sonic Corporation (56309/ CLIN 0001 to CLIN 0004) and Enersys Energy Products (0WY95/ CLIN 0002).

While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
