This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.

The Mission Installation Contracting Command - Fort Hood is soliciting for the purchase of one Swing Reach Forklift to support the Directorate of Logistics (DOL) Fort Hood, Texas. The solicitation number is W91151-12-B-0025 and is issued as an Invitation for Bids (IFB). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-57 effective 15 March 2012. This procurement is competed as firm fixed price, brand name or equal, unrestricted on AFSI. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 333924 - Industrial Truck, Tractor, Trailer and Stacker Machinery Manufacturing with a small business size standard of 750 employees. The Government anticipates awarding a firm-fixed priced type contract as a result of this solicitation.
