This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and Part 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Request for Quotes (RFQ) is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is being issued as Brand Name or Equal per FAR 52.211-6. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (Fac) 2005-30 effective 17 February 2009 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARs), current to DCN 20090115 Edition. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) resulting in a Firm-Fixed Price contract. It is anticipated that payment will be made by Government Visa Payment Card. Offerer shall account for any costs associated with accepting Visa payment. This commercial acquisition is being solicited on an unrestricted basis. All perspective offerers must be actively registered in the Central Contractor Registration. Offerers may register online at http://www.ccr.gov. The Government intends to solicite this requirement as a brand name or equal to Stanley Vidmar 20 bay 4,000 pound stak system to include model numbers: 5KS044848190 (qty 1); 4KA014848190 (qty 14); 4KA015248190 (qty 2); 4KFFCO (qty 2); 4KPLFM190 (qty 1); PLSC190 (qty 42); 4KPSF5248 (qty 152); 4KPSF4848 (qty 16). This contract will be for the procurement of the following Contract Line Item Number (CLIN): 0001, Quantity: 1, Unit of Issue: Each, Description: 4,000 pound Stak System. Must meet technical specifications found at: www.yuma.army.mil/contracting. The Government intends to award a contract to the responsible offerer whose offer conforming to the proposal will be most advantageous to the Government based on lowest price technically acceptable. The requirement specifications, for this CSS, or any other pertinent information applicable to this solicitation are located at the U.S. Army Mission & Installation Contracting Command Center Yuma web site at www.yuma.army.mil/contracting under RFQ W9124R-09-T-1046. All quotations shall include any costs to U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground, Yuma, Arizona 85365-9498. Arizona vendors are to include the Arizona Privilege Tax. All quotations shall be clearly marked with RFQ reference number W9124R-09-T-1046 and emailed or sent to the Point of Contact (POC) below no later than 13 April 2009 at 7:00 AM Mountain Standard Time MST. In addition, all technical questions concerning this requirement must be emailed to the POC below no later than 09 April 2009 at 12:00 PM Mountain Standard MST.
