The Naval Surface Warfare Center - Panama City, Florida intends to solicit on a competitive basis for the fabrication of eight (8) LCAC Flyover blocks in accordance with the specifications of the drawing. This purchase order will be placed using simplified acquisition procedures. Drawing will be provided on request. This order is a 100% small business set aside. The blocks are designed so the LCAC can fly over them, come off cushion and support the craft weight. A lifting eye is provided so they can be lifted with a crane. Dual slots are also incorporated in the design so they are forklift compatible. Contractor shall deliver these fabricated blocks to the Assault Craft Unit (ACU4) Building 3821, Naval Amphibious Base, Little Creek, VA 23531-5044. A firm-fixed-price Purchaser Order will be awarded on the basic of the quotes submitted in response to the RFQ on or about 20 Jul 2005. Delivery will be FOB Destination. NAICS Code 238120 applies.
