The Connecticut Army National Guard is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support this requirement for providing Toboggans 200 lbs. w/canvas bag. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement.

Description of item to be purchased:


The 1-102D IN is a Mountain Battalion within the 86th IBCT and requires special equipment to operate in Mountainous terrain. The equipment being purchased are Toboggan 200 lbs. with canvas bag manufactured. These sleds are used to move equipment and life support while conducting operations in a mountain environment. These items have military purpose and use.

Sled will be made of magnesium or other light weight durable material that will meet our purpose.
