STATEMENT OF WORK Minneapolis Veteran Affairs Health Care System Multi-Purpose Utility Vehicle Lease BRAND NAME OR EQUAL Statement of Work: Provide a 5 year lease for two multi-purpose utility vehicles, Brand Name or Equal Bobcat 5600, that meet the following specifications and characteristics: Diesel engine between 50 and 60 Horsepower Hydrostatic transmission, High and low range capabilities All wheel steer (AWS) Traction control (4x4 capabilities), Limited Slip differential. Turf tires. Cargo bed between 15-20 cubic feet and a maximum load capacity of 2000 lbs Loader with 68 standard bucket w/bolt on cutting edge. Road Package Seat belts, Head lights, turn signals, hazard lights, brake lights, back-up alarm, horn, side and rear-view mirrors, rear work lights and strobe light windshield wipers. Enclosed Cab with climate control (heating and air conditioning) Block heater. High flow hydraulics between 25 and 30 gal/min @ 3,000 psi Attachment control and Powered quick attach. Compatible with BobCat quick attachment equipment. Annual usage not to exceed 500 hours annually. Delivery and pickup fees will be included in lease. Equipment needs to be delivered to Building 72, Minnehaha Ave, Minneapolis MN. 55417 All controls and safety features must function properly (Lights, Brakes, Horn, Backup Alarm, etc.) All guards and safety shields must be in place and secure. All preventative maintenance is responsibility of the MVAHCS. Equipment comes with a factory 12-month warranty. MVAHCS reserves the right to purchase extended coverage at a later date. Submittals: Capabilities, Characteristic and specifications of proposed equipment. References: Provide a copy of the equipment owner s manual. Provide a preventative maintenance service schedule for preventative maintenance. Safety: Contractor is responsible for providing a piece of equipment that is safe to operate by MVAHCS Staff. All guards must be securely fastened in place and all safety switches must be operational as per manufactures manuals and documentation. Appropriate Personnel Protective Equipment will be worn while performing work on the VA Campus.
