This is a pre-solicitation notice is for paving requirements contract at Fort Wainwright and Fort Greely, Alaska. The purpose of this notice is to identify HUBzone sources with the capability to perform described work within NAICS code 237310, Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction. The work to be performed under this requirement consists of repairs, improvements, modifications and additions to existing roads, parking areas, taxiways, aircraft parking ramp and runways. The Contractor shall provide all plant, labor, equipment, materials, supplies and supervision to perform all the work, including work of an incidental nature, in accordance with the attached general drawings and specifications and the work description given on each Work Order. The above description of work is for general information only. This statement is not intended to describe every feature of the items of work or to define the scope of work. The solicitation will be an invitation for bids. The proposed contract will be set aside for HUBzone competition, pursuant to the Small Business Competition Demonstration Program. Award will be made to the low responsive, responsible bidder. The performance period is projected for one base year and four option years. Project magnitude of the contract is estimated over $10,000,000. This project is set-aside 100% for Certified HUBzone Business Concerns. The applicable North American Classification System (NAICS) code is 237310 with a small business size standard of $33,500,000.
