DESC: (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format listed in FAR Subpart 12.603 as supplemented with additional information included with this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Solicitation F32605-02-Q-0033 is being issued as a request for quote (RFQ). (iii) This solicitation incorporates clauses and provisions in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-07. (iv) Standard Industry Classification (SIC) for this acquisition is 3599 (Other Industrial and Commercial Machinery and Equipment). This is small business set aside acquisition with the Small Business Size Standard of 500 Employees. (v) Line Items As follows:#1 MBEX Stanley hydraulic breaker to include the following attachments: Chisel point(P/N 1-3287), blunt impact tool (P/N 3294), conical point (P/N 32985), Universal (P/N 329860), and a bracket to mount to a Wainroy coupler (P/N 34430) or Equals; Quantity will be 1 of each. (vi) The MBEX Stanley equipment part numbers are provided, however, any manufacturer's equipment that fits the requirements will be acceptable; product literature needs to be submitted with any or equal products. More than one offer may be submitted. (vii) Delivery of line items will be 30 days after receipt of order unless otherwise specified. All materials are to be FOB destination to Grand Forks Air Force Base, North Dakota. (viii) Provision 52.212-1, Instruction Evaluation-Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. (ix) The provision 52.212-2, Evaluation, Commercial items applies to this acquisition. Evaluation will be based on cost and the ability to meet the requirements. (x) Offers shall include a completed copy of the provisions at 52.212.3 Offer Representations and Certifications - Commercial item, with its offer. As prescribed in DFAR 212.301 : b(2) paragraph (b) of this provision (52.212.3) do not apply as this combined synopsis/solicitation will contain DFAR 252-204-7004 Required Central Contractor Registration.
