The U. S. Department of Agriculture intends to procure a used 4-row Cotton Picker. The cotton picker shall include but is not limited to: equipped with adjustable picker heads to allow harvest of plots with row widths between 30 and 40 inches; standard 4-row and less than 8 years old with less than 2500 hours on engine and have been serviced within the last 25 hours of operation; heated and air-conditioned cab; picker basket must be equipped with operational compactor and unloading mechanism; and available for inspection. The cotton picker shall be delivered to the USDA, ARS, 141 Experiment Station Road, Stoneville, Mississippi 38776. An IFB will be issued on or about July 9, 2003.
