This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the ONLY SOLICITATION; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is PDF53088 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ), and incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-05. USDA, ARS, RSS requires the purchase of a No Till Grain Drill. The minimum specifications are as follows: Minimum 15 foot seeding width, Minimum 7.5 inch row spacing, Minimum box capacity of 3.5 Bu per feet, Opener assembly to include: Hydraulically adjustable down pressure to apply a minimum force of 400 pounds, Adjustable gauge wheels to allow seed placement at a minimum of ¼ inch & a maximum of at least 3 inches, Adjustable down pressure press wheels, Adjustable down pressure cast closing wheels, Caster wheel hitch with tongue including minimum 11L-15 10ply tires, Electronic population rate control, Front rank lockup in planting 15 inch rows, Seed tube sensors and wiring harness to be compatible with John Deere 250 Monitor. The NAICS Code is 333111 with a small business standard of 500 employees. All Vendors bidding on this requirement shall be bidding on a firm-fixed price.
