THIS IS A MODIFICATION TO THE ORIGINAL SYNOPSIS. THE RESPONSE DATE IS EXTENDED TO 7 JUNE, 2002. ANTICIPATED AWARD DATE IS AROUND 14 JUNE, 2002. CONTRACTING OFFICER, MIKE KUCYNDA IS NOW THE PRIMARY P.O.C. ON THIS SOLICITATION AT EXT. 856.
This procurement is being advertised under NAICS code 333111. Acquisition of a "Big Bertha" type Bean Harvester for the USP Farm Operation. Bids will be accepted from all Small Business Concern Distributors for this type of Harvesting Machinery. Specifications are as follows: 1) Hydraulic-driven, large capacity, clean bean "griz'e" elevator; 2) Rotary windrow "innes" pick-up with drive; 3) Hydraulic-driven, high volume/efficiency "ajax" shaker table; 4) 5 assorted screen assembles for shaker table, to include; screens #10, 14, 15, 18, & 26; 5) Perforated, louvered, 2 or 3 piece bottom rack; 6) Adjustable shoe sieve; 7) Remote hydraulic-driven header/draper/windrow pickup; 8) Front wheel and turn table assembly with hydraulic swing tongue and "horizontal roller" steering stabilizers; 9) Hydraulic-driven, rubber batt dual straw spreaders with backflow guard; 10) Hydraulic-driven, right side mounted return elevator; 11) Hydraulic "raise & dump" 150 cwt bin capable of unloading into commercial "bottom dump" grain trailers; 12) Main rack "Eckhardt" slat conversion; 13) Hydraulic-driven, clean bean bin distribution auger; 14) Hydraulic flow control valves on all hydraulically driven components; 15) 50 gallon hydraulic reservoir; 16) Solid wheels, with no less than 50% tire wear; 17) New chains, paint & delivered field-ready to USP Farm, Lompoc; 18) John Deere "6359-T" engine (or comparable).
The equipment/machine major end item is for delivery to the Federal Correctional Complex, United States Penitentiary, USP Farm Operation, 3901 Klein Blvd. (Farm Road), Lompoc, CA. 93436. All responsible bidders will be considered. Anticipated Award date for RFQ # 0079-2 is 06/14/02. All RFQ Bids/Quotes, must be received by this office at Destination pricing, with shipping charges/freight inclusive.
