Background: Service: Pharmacy Requestor: Medical Doctor The Erie, PA VAMC has a veteran that needs an expensive prescription drug (Tyvaso). This prescription drug costs $11,661.75 per month and exceeds purchase card thresholds. Additionally, since this is a reoccurring procurement a contract needs to be established. This prescription drug is to be delivered monthly to the veteran s home. The pharmacy department within the Erie, PA VAMC is funding this contract from October 1, 2021 through March 31, 2022.
