INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: Letterkenny Army Depot (LEAD) intends to issue a sole source award to JLG Industries, Inc. for the acquisition of Two (2) JLG 450AJ PK 4 DIESEL ARTICULATING BOOM LIFTS. The Government intends to issue a firm fixed price contract for this supply. The Statutory Authority permitting Other than Full and Open Competition for this action is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as cited in FAR 6.302-1, when there is a supply or service available only from one or a limited number of responsible sources, and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy the agency's needs. This requirement will be negotiated on a sole source basis with JLG Industries, Inc., 1 JLG Drive, McConnellsburg PA 17233-9502. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This special notice shall not bind the Government and is for information purposes only.
