Solicitation Number: N00383-14-T-0387 NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Philadelphia intends to solicit Remtec International (0ETK4) for the purchase of a mon recharging unit. The intention of this solicitation is to award a firm fixed priced contract. This contract will include the repair of the following part: NSN: 1RW-3665-01-387-9724 ITEM NM: MON RECHARGING UNIT P/N: 100-HR-SHORE-T QTY: 5 The government intends to contract on a sole source basis with Remtec International. Remtec is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and the only knownsource for providing repair support of the above repair part. This procurement is being processed in accordance with Part 15 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). The applicable NAICS code is 314999. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. All responsible sources may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals, quotationsor capability statements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 45 days (30days if award is issued under an existing Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA))after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by theGovernment.
