This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Fort Greely, Alaska has a requirement for a heat-extruded foam densifier. This request for quotation (RFQ) is being solicited as NAICS 333319 (2007) or NAICS 333318 (2012), Other Commercial and Service Industry Machinery Manufacturing. The minimum required specifications for the foam densifier are listed in the attachment. Shipping must be included as a separate line item on the quote and must be FOB Destination, Fort Greely, Alaska, 99731. All quotes must be accompanied with complete specifications of the foam densifier as well as complete operating instructions. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-61 dated 13 September 2012. Offerors shall include a completed copy of FAR 52.212-3, Offerors Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, with their quotes.
