The USACE Marine Design Center of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) is initiating this Invitation for Bid (IFB) for the procurement of four (4) Revetment Barges with an additional two (2) by option. The barges’ primary mission will be to augment the Vicksburg District’s existing fleet of revetment barges that support the Mat Sinking Unit.

The principal dimensions of each barge shall be as follows:

• Length (Molded)                                 160'- 0"
• Beam (Molded)                                   36'- 0"
• Depth (Molded at Centerline)            11’-0”
• Bow                                                     Raked
• Stern                                                   Raked
• Sheer                                                   Forward 10’ and aft 10’[NMRCUC(1]

The Contractor shall deliver each vessel afloat and ready for service at the following location:

There are liquidated damages associated with this procurement.
