The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division, Panama City, Florida intends to solicit Maryland Thermoform Corporation 2717 Wilmarco Ave, Baltimore, MD 21223-3339 on a sole source basis for forty (40 each Sleeve, P/N 3404-01, and forty (40) each Base with Flange, P/N 3403-01. Maryland Thermoform Corporation is the OEM for the current Base with Flange and Sleeve used by the fleet. This requirement is unsuitable for full and open competition due to this design being proprietary and Maryland Thermoform Corporation has the only known drawings. Items will be delivered to the Naval Support Activity - Panama City, 110 Vernon Avenue, Panama City, FL 32407-7001. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price purchase order. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
