The SAO (Service Area Office) East intends to negotiate on a sole source basis pursuant to FAR 6.302-1 with EOS of North America ,28970 Cabot Drive, Novi, MI 48377,to provide maintenance and equipment upgrade services for the existing EOS Metal Laser Sintering Machine. This requirement is for the Eastern Colorado Health Care System and is the only company capable of providing these services due to proprietary software that is utilized to perform upgrades and also to troubleshoot service call issues. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Any responsible sources who wish to identify their interest and capability to provide services must notify this Contracting Officer at [email protected] NLT Wednesday September 24, 2014 by Noon EST. Telephone responses will not be accepted. Upon receipt of the interested parties' notification, the Contracting Officer will determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement or proceed with sole source negotiations.
