IFB 307348 2910 INTERIOR REMODEL – FIRST FLOOR Pre-Bid Conference: September 24, 2021, at 9:00 a.m. Site Visit: September 24, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. Bids Due: October 6, 2021, prior to 3:00:00 p.m. PROJECT DEFINITION To update our administrative facilities and make room for our growing staff, Capital Metro is remodeling our facilities at 2910 E. 5th Street and 624 Pleasant Valley Road in Austin, Texas. SCOPE OF REQUIRED SERVICES This contract is for General Construction services. Work may include, but is not limited to, the following tasks as further detailed in Volume II, Plans and Drawings. Construction of 2910 E. 5th Street first floor administrative offices will be completed in phases and the facility will conduct regular business during the phased construction. The Contractor shall work with Capital Metro’s project manager to develop a detailed construction schedule of phasing. Construction will be scheduled such that the normal business practices of Capital Metro can commence during renovations. The Contractor shall complete construction in accordance with drawings, specifications, and design standards. The Contractor shall always maintain a safe construction site and conduct regular safety inspections. The Contractor shall have a dedicated superintendent, with experience in interior remodels of operating buildings. The dedicated superintendent shall be onsite at all times when work is being performed. The Contractor shall have a project manager that will assist the superintendent and conduct weekly site meetings with Capital Metro’s project manager, superintendent, architect and or engineers and any other necessary attendees.
