This is a synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12, in conjunction with FAR 15. GSA FAS/AASD has a requirement to support the Army’s Blue Force Tracking Aviation with brand name Sensor Systems 301 and GPS Antennas for integration and fielding of rapid deployment systems. To accomplish this, it is desired to initiate an IDIQ contract with base year minimum requirements of 50 and maximum of 750 for both items. The first and second year options minimum requirements are 50 and 1000 for both items. The products are unique to Army situation awareness systems and have been qualified for Safety of Flight / Airworthiness Release. No other brand has been identified that can meet these requirements. These Antennas remove the dependency between host application proprietary communication systems, and are critical to Aviation missions. New equipment only, NO remanufactured products, and NO “gray market” items. Ensure that all items will be covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.
