Synopsis:

The Defense Logistics Agency-Energy (DLA-Energy) is seeking quotations for a total of 30,000 Gallons of Red-Dyed Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel (ULSD) going to Fort Gordon, GA.

(i)         This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.  Evaluation will be conduction using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency.

(ii)        The solicitation number is SP0600-13-Q-0248 and this is a request for quotations. A firm fixed price will be awarded.

(iii)       The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular June 26, 2013.

(iv)       This is a small business set-aside and the NAICS code is 324110.

(v)         Product: Red-Dyed Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel Grade 2-D NSN:9140-00-286-5284

Quantity: 30,000 Gallons

(vi)       Delivery Mode: Tank Truck (TT). Please list your detention rate and free hours. A driver verification (SSN, Name, and Citizenship) is  required. Fuel will go into 9  30,000 gallon above ground tanks.

(ix)       Lowest price technically acceptable will be used to evaluate the offer under FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial.

(xv)     Please submit the price as a per gallon price with all applicable taxes included in the price except federal excise tax.  The price per gallon should include the cost of transportation.
