This is an invitation to bid one (1), 3000-gallon fire service tender/tanker to meet the attached specifications. This vehicle will be used by the Burke County Emergency Management Agency. It is not the intent of these specifications to keep any manufacturer, dealer, or vendor from bidding. All bids should be sealed, identified as a 3000-gallon tender/tanker bid on the envelope and received at the office of the Burke County Commissioners by 4:00 PM on Tuesday, March 5th, 2024. Bids are currently scheduled to be opened at the Commissioner¿s Finance Committee Meeting to be held on Thursday, March 7th, 2024. The bid is expected to be awarded at the County Commission Meeting Tuesday, March 12th, 2024, at 6pm.
