The Government intends to negotiate and award, a sole source commercial firm fixed priced type contract to Black Hills Ammunition of Rapid City , SD, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, for .300 Winchester Magnum (80,000 rounds), as described in ANSI/SAAMI Z299.4, small arms ammunition. The Contract award is intended to be made by 07 December 2010 or earlier. This is for commercial supplies. The resulting contract will be for a period of nine months. This solicitation is sole source and shall be awarded on a one-time basis. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 332992.
This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. No formal solicitation package is available. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred in responding to this notice.
