All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. The subject requirement is for the acquisition of 32 NSNs with Various items description and end items. The major FSCs of this requirement are 2530, 2540, 2590, 2815, 2910, 2930, 2940, 2990, 3040, 4310, 4330, 4420, 4730 and 4820. The requirement will result in an award of an Indefinite Delivery Type Contract for which Delivery Orders may be placed for one (1) year. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed 5 years. See Note(s): 1, 26. The solicitation will be available in FedBizOpps on its issue date of 2004 April 07. Some NSNs on this acquisition are for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestrictive technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). The solicitation will be FOB Destination and indefinite quantities will be delivered to various locations. Drawings/Specifications will be available through the DIBBS or SRweb solicitation link in the synopsis on the solicitation issue date. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
