The USPFO for Alabama, on behalf of the 187th Fighter Wing, Montgomery, Alabama, intends to issue an Invitation for Bid to award a single firm-fixed price contract for services, non-personal, to provide all labor, transportation, materials, tools, equipment, appliances, and supervision necessary to perform and complete a SIPR Vault Expansion for the 280th Special Operational Communications Squadron (SOCS). The project includes a 390SF expansion of administrative space to an existing 220SF Open Collateral Secret Certifiable Space and an additional 44SF expansion of a secure server frame room. Magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. Construction/contract completion time is 60 days after notice to proceed to include inspection and punch list.
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 236220. The small business size standard is $36.5 million. The action is being procured on a total small business set-aside. The tentative date for issuing the solicitation is 12 July 2019. The tentative date for pre-bid conference is on or about 25 July 2019 at 10:00 a.m. local time at the 280th SOCS, Dothan, Alabama. Interested contractors are encouraged to attend and shall follow conference registration and base access requirements shown in the solicitation. A site visit will follow the pre-bid conference. The solicitation closing date is scheduled for on-or about 13 August 2019. Actual dates and times will be identified in the solicitation. The bid opening process will be conducted in accordance with FAR 14.4 and DFARS 214.4, Opening of Bids and Award of Contract. Evaluation factors will be based on price. The Government intends to award without discussions.
