DESC: The Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC), Edwards AFB intends to award a sole source, Firm-Fixed Price contract, under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, to Thermal Product Solutions, 700 E. Redlands Bl, PMB U-297, Redlands, CA 92373. This acquisition is unrestricted. The NAICS code is 339111.
The following item will be procured: Turbine technologies is the exclusive manufacturer of ready to operate miniature gas turbines. LX4000 MiniLab is unique for the following components: 1. Axial flow turbine stage gas turbine. 2. Fully re-circulating oil system. 3. LX4000 does not require outside cooling with water or air.
Contractors interested in this requirement should submit a complete technical quote, which provides clear and convincing evidence that they can meet the Government's requirement. In addition, the response should include any special requirements for a commercial contract (i.e., Commercial Financing, Warranty Provisions, Delivery Information, etc.) in accordance with FAR Part 12. Anticipated Award date is June 29, 2005. Responses must be received no later than (NLT) 4:00 p.m., Pacific Standard Time, June 30, 2005.
