NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Philadelphia is seeking eligible contractors to furnish effort including labor, material, and facilities as may be required to manufacture the items as specified within this document. Government intends to solicit for the procurement of: 2840-01-450-3617, P/N 4106T88P03, Blade for the F414 engine. The government does possess the data necessary to perform to manufacture this item HOWEVER THERE ARE CURRENTLY NO APPROVED CASTING SOURCES. THE CASTINGS ARE CONTROLLED BY THE PRIME AND AS SUCH UNTIL NAVSUP WSS DEVELOPS AN ALTERNATE CASTING SOURCE, THIS ITEM WILL REMAIN NON-COMPETITIVE. All responsible sources may identify their interest and provide capability statements in response to this notice. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 15 days after date of publication of this sources sought notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
