THE DLA LAND AND MARITIME IS ISSUING THIS SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS AS A MEANS OF CONDUCTING MARKET RESEARCH TO IDENTIFY PARTIES HAVING AN INTEREST IN AND THE RESOURCES TO SUPPORT THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS, QUOTATIONS, OR BIDS.  This announcement is considered market research in accordance with FAR Part 10.  All the following information is approximate and may be altered in the actual solicitation.   Responses to this Sources Sought announcement will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions.

DLA Land and Maritime anticipates issuing a solicitation in the near future for an Indefinite Delivery Contract (IDC) in accordance with (IAW) FAR 13.5 Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items.

NSN: 2540-01-497-9006 Duct, Combustion Air, PN: 5000-30007, Estimated ADQ: 1303

NSN: 2540-01-497-9008 Fuel Pump, PN: 5000-30008, Estimated ADQ: 2541

Both items are to be procured IAW approved source: HDT Expeditionary LLC, CAGE 92878.  No data is available.  Adequate data for the evaluation of alternate offers is not available at the procurement agency.  A vendor wishing to offer an alternate product must provide a complete data package, including data for the approved and alternate part for evaluation.  Please see http://www.dla.mil/LandandMaritime/Business/Selling/Alternate-Offers for more information.

The solicitation is anticipated to require FOB Origin in accordance with (IAW) First Destination Transportation with inspection of the supplies and packaging at destination.  All interested parties are invited to express interest in this procurement by completing the attached Market Survey and returning to the buyer, John Hutcheson at [email protected] on or before May 25, 2021.

Once the solicitation is issued, interested sources must submit the appropriate information outlined under L04 Offers for Part Numbered Items (SEPT 2016) and M06 Evaluation of Offers for Part Numbered Items (SEP 2016).

The purpose of this synopsis is to locate sources interested in becoming approved sources and for any additional approved sources.

This RFI is for market research purposes only. Any information submitted is at the company's own expense. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any costs associated with submission of capability statements in connection with the market survey. Any information provided is voluntary.
