This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The National American Industry Classification Code is 811111 with a Business Size Standard of $6 million. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has a requirement for a one time, firm-fixed price purchase of eight (8) RealPower, 12kW Generators, part number 5200089A. The firm-fixed price includes the generators, all parts and labor required for the conversion of the transmission, and installation of the generators on eight 2004 Ford Excursion Vans. A minimum of 12 months/12,000 mile warranty must be included on the re-built transmission and must be included in the proposed price. The area of competition is limited to a distance of 50 miles from the FBI Academy, Quantico, VA. Additionally, competition is limited to Ford Dealers to maintain the Ford Factory Warranty on the vehicles. The vehicles will be delivered and returned to the FBI by Bureau personnel. The purchasing activity is not responsible for locating or securing any information which is not identified in the quotation and reasonably available to the purchasing activity.
