This initiative is for the establishment of an IQC (Indefinite Quantity Contract). The acquisition will be solicited in accordance with FAR Part 15, as an unrestricted Indefinite Quantity Type Contract, 100% Set Aside for Small Business, for the procurement of various part numbered items as well as competitive items (AMSC = G), where GDLS Canada, is an approved source, and/or has supplied the item in the past either directly or through dealers, whether or not the items are ultimately provided for GDLS Canada. The current population is 93 items. Additional items may possibly be added in future phases. There are 37 items in the current population that has been identified for “Surge and Sustainment”, which will be included as an evaluation factor. The contract will have a one (1) year base period followed by 4 (one-year) option periods. The total duration (base and option years) shall not exceed five (5) years. The resulting contract will be awarded on the basis of Stock Replenishment. Vendors proposals are to reflect the Government’s required delivery schedule. All items in the population will be available for download on or before May 24, 2004, under the “Acquisition Download” menu item on the DSCC Internet Bid Board (DIBBS) under the heading “DSCC Corporate Contract Solicitations”.
