This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The National American Industry Classification Code is 811121 with a Business Size Standard of $6.0 million. This solicitation is issued as a total small business set-aside. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has a requirement for a one time, firm-fixed price purchase of the following products: Two (2) standard sets of outriggers provided as a turn-key package for one (1) 2004 Ford Explorer and one (1) 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe. Outriggers must be of NHTSA design and approval based on NHTSA docket #2001-9663-75. Quote must include: Pickup of vehicle from Quantico, VA; custom fabrication and installation of outriggers; and, return of the vehicles to Quantico, VA. The evaluation of quotations and the determination as to equality of the product shall be the responsibility of the Government and will be based on information furnished by the vendor. The purchasing activity is not responsible for locating or securing any information which is not identified in the quotation and reasonably available to the purchasing activity. Provide time requirements for completion of work. All compliant quotes received by the due date will be considered by the government. Delivery of the vans shall be within thirty (30) days after receipt of order.
