The solicitation will be available in FedBizOpps on its issue date of June 20, 2005. This is an Unrestricted Acquistion. The product described in the acquisition identification description (AID) of the solicitation is that product which the government has determined to be acceptable. Adequate data for the evaluation of alternate offers is not available at the procurement agency. The offeror must provide a complete data package including data for the approved and alternate part for evaluation. Proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed 5 years. The anticipated annual quantity is 20 to be delivered to various destinations as contained in the solicitation, Destinations Zone I (west coast) Zone 2 (east coast). Required delivery schedule of 90 days. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation facts as described in the solicitation.
