Invitation for Bid #24117 Streetlight Maintenance and Repairs as Needed The City of Gloucester is soliciting bids from experienced contractors to furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the maintenance, repair, and/or replacement of streetlights owned by the City for a one-year period from July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025, with the option to renew for 2 additional 1-year extension periods at the sole discretion of the City. This project is bid pursuant to MGL Chap. 30, sec 39M. Massachusetts Prevailing Wage rates shall apply. A bid deposit in the amount of 5% of the total bid price must accompany each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Payment Bond in the amount of 50% of the bid price. Bids will be due and opened electronically on Wed., April 24, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. on bidnet direct. https://www.bidnetdirect.com/massachusetts/gloucesterma. Bids will be available on April 3, 2024 at bidnet direct. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to accept that which is deemed in the best interest of the City. The City shall not be responsible for bids arriving late for any reason.
