This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice, under the authority of FAR Subpart 13.5 - Test Program for Certain Commercial Items (section 4202 of the Clinger-Cohen Act of 1996). Western Area Power Administration, Desert Southwest Region has a requirement for switch parts related to a 230 KV 1600A Switch manufactured by ITE. Solicitation number DE-SOL-0006573 is issued as a Request for Quotation. A fixed price contract will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This is a competitive 100% Small Business set-aside. The acquisition is subject to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 335313 with a business size standard of 750 employees.

All quotes must be valid for 30 days. Only quotes containing all items listed in the solicitation will be considered for award. No partial quotes will be accepted.
