The 409th CSB/ECC-E (Wiesbaden Contracting Center - Europe) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Type Contract on full and open competition basis for the purchase of one (1) utility maintenance truck to be delivered to the US Depot in Germersheim, Germany. The vehicle to be furnished under this contract shall be new from the manufacturer's most current production model. In addition the vehicle shall meet the requirements of the German Strassenverkehrs-Zulassungsver-ordnung (StVZO) and shall be approved for operation in other European countries. The following aspects of the vehicle will be used to determine the acceptability of the vehicle. They include engine size, wheel base, front and rear axle load, total weight, transmission, fuel capacity, suspension, rear lift gate, cab requirements, interior and exterior finish, cargo bed, brake system, and tires. The anticipated award date is 23 April 2010 with a delivery time within 60 days of award. Specific vehicle specifications will be included in the Request for Quote (RFQ) number W912CM-10-T-0093 to be issued on or about 25 March 2010.
