The Southcentral Region of the Pennsylvania Game Commission is soliciting bids for competing vegetation removal on approximately 98 acres on game lands #198 located in Blair County. The Pennsylvania Game Commission (PGC), Bureau of Wildlife Habitat Management, Forestry Division, Southcentral Region requires the services of a contractor for approximately a two (2) week period at a specifically designated location to provide application of herbicide in forested areas of State Game Lands to aid in the establishment of stands of desirable trees by eliminating competing understory vegetation consisting primarily of Striped Maple and Witch Hazel. The types and categories of application, specific locations and the timing for herbicide application required for the Project are detailed in Section G. Project requires the contractor to provide the herbicide, labor, insurance, and all miscellaneous expenses to complete the operation. The Commission will reimburse the contractor based upon the surveyed acreage treated.
