The United States Army Contracting Command - Warren (ACC-WRN) will be issuing a sole source Request for Proposal (RFP) in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 for the upgrade of up to 489 Army Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) MaxxPro Dash vehicles to include a base award amount of 181 vehicles and an option for 308 vehicles. This effort includes the material, labor, and ancillary items required to upgrade the Dash vehicles to a final configuration. The MaxxPro Dash vehicle is source controlled to Navistar Defense LLC. This effort will be procured on a standalone contract and performed at Ft. Bliss, Texas. The target award date for this requirement is 31 July 2014. This is a notice of intent, not a request for competitive proposals or a solicitation of offers. However, in accordance with FAR 5.207 (c)(16)(ii), all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.
