This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation for this requirement. This is the Request for Proposals. No other solicitation will be issued. The provisions and clauses incorporated into this document are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-08.
The Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) has a requirement for an enclosed Gooseneck (2 5/16â ball coupler) trailer. The below specifications are approximations. Please provide a quote for your products that most closely matches the below dimensions. While MSHA would like to have the new trailer match these dimensions as closely as possible, we will not exclude a proposed trailer that does not perfectly match each of them. We particularly do not want a vendor to deviate from standard sizes or specifications so as to unduly raise the price of the proposed.
Please include the unit curb weight, hitch weight, and payload capacity of the quoted trailer.
