Invitation for Bid #22014 Streetlight Maintenance The City of Gloucester is soliciting bids from experienced contractors to furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the maintenance, repair, and/or replacement of streetlights owned by the City for a one-year period from the contract execution date through June 30, 2022, with the option to renew for 2 additional 1-year extension periods at the sole discretion of the City. This project is bid pursuant to MGL Chap. 30, sec 39M. Massachusetts Prevailing Wage rates shall apply. A bid deposit in the amount of 5% of the total bid price must accompany each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Payment Bond in the amount of 50% of the bid price. Bids are due and will be opened at the Office of the Purchasing Agent, 9 Dale Ave, Gloucester, MA 01930 no later than August 4, 2021 at 11:00 AM. Bid packages will be available at the Purchasing Office beginning July 14, 2021. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to accept that which is deemed in the best interest of the City. The City shall not be responsible for bids arriving late for any reason.
