NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bid proposals will be received only by Purchasing at their office in the Administrative Services Finance Department in the Whatcom County Courthouse, 311 Grand Avenue Suite 503, Bellingham WA 98225 for the following: 2022 DOCKSIDE REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE OF THE WHATCOM CHIEF FERRY UNTIL: 2:30 PM Tuesday, March 1, 2022 At which time and place the bids will be publicly opened (live/virtual via GoToMeeting), and read aloud. All interested people are invited to attend the virtual bid opening via GoToMeeting, as more completely described herein. Late submittals will not be considered. Whatcom County Public Works is requesting bids for the 2022 dockside repair and maintenance of the Whatcom Chief Ferry, and other related work as further described in the bid documents. A mandatory bidder's conference will be held on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at 11:00 AM on board the Whatcom Chief Ferry. Attendance is mandatory, and bids will not be considered from bidders who fail to attend the meeting. See page 5 of the bid document for meeting details.
