INVITATION FOR PROPOSALS The Montgomery County Housing Authority (MCHA) will receive sealed proposals electronically via the PennBid Program (www.PennBid.net) for Preventative Extermination/Integrated Pest Management Services at Bright Hope Community, 467 West King Street, Pottstown, PA 19464; Golden Age Manor, 400 Walnut Street, Royersford, PA 19468; Robert P. Smith Towers, 501 East High Street, Pottstown, PA 19464; Marshall W. Lee Towers, One West Third Avenue, Conshohocken, PA 19428; Sidney Pollock House, 450 East High Street, Pottstown, PA 19464; and MCHA, Cherry Court, 104 West Main Street, Norristown, PA 19401, until 2:15 P.M., prevailing time on Thursday, February 16, 2023, at which time, the proposals will be publicly opened. MCHA will only accept proposals submitted electronically via the PennBid Program. Proposal documents, including specifications and solicitation details are only available on PennBid starting Thursday, January 19, 2023. This Contract is subject to the requirements of Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, as amended, which provides that training, employment and other economic opportunities generated by HUD assistance or HUD-assisted projects covered by section 3, shall, to the greatest extent feasible, be directed to low- and very low-income persons, particularly persons who are recipients of HUD assistance for housing. Attention is called to the fact that not less than the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the Contract Documents must be paid on this project, and that the Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex or national origin. A non-mandatory, Pre-Proposal Meeting is scheduled for 10:00 A.M., prevailing time on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at Robert P. Smith Towers (RPS), 501 East High Street, Pottstown, PA 19464. Site visits will immediately follow. The Montgomery County Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bidding when, in the opinion of the MCHA, such rejections or waivers shall be to its interest or advantage
