NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of said City invites and will receive sealed proposals (bids) up to the hour of 2:00 pm on June 16, 2022, for the furnishing to said City of all transportation, labor, tools, equipment, services, permits, utilities, and other items necessary to construct said work. At said time, said proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud at the office of the City Clerk: City Hall 1015 Eleventh Avenue Delano, California 93215 Bids shall conform to and be responsive to the Contract Documents for the work. MANDATORY Pre-job walk will be held on May 10 and May 17 at 10:00 a.m. at the Leonard T. Velasco Technology Center, 140 W. 11th Avenue, Delano, California 93215. Attendance to only one of the two job walks is required. General Description of Work: Work of this Contract comprises construction of 2022 Delano Aquatic Center including site excavation and grading for utilities and pools, construction of pools and decks, Entry Canopy, Shade Canopy Footings, Trash Enclosure, signage, landscaping, on-site utilities, paving, site amenities including fire protection, mechanical, plumbing, electrical and incidental related work. Engineers’ Estimate Range: $5.7m to $6.0m.
