Sealed bids for 2021 Springdale Street Overlay will be received by the City of Springdale, Arkansas, in the Public Works Administration Building, 269 E Randall Wobbe Lane, Springdale, Arkansas 72764, until 2:00 p.m. (local time), June 15th, 2021, and then at said location publicly opened and read aloud. The major items of work include: Milling and Overlaying streets located in a central region of the City of Springdale Contact the Engineering Department at 479-750-8105 to request a digital copy of these documents. Each bidder must deposit bid security in the amount, from and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. All bidders must be licensed under the terms of Act 150 of the 1965 Acts of the Arkansas Legislature, including subsequent amendments. All bids shall be sealed and the envelopes addressed to City of Springdale Public Works Department, 269 E Randall Wobbe Lane, Springdale, Arkansas. All bids shall be plainly marked on the outside of the envelope specifying that it is a bid for "2021 Springdale Street Overlay", the time for opening of bids, and the name and current contractor's license number of the bidder. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids. No bidder may withdraw a bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The successful bidder must furnish a performance and payment bond upon the form provided in the amount of 100% of the contract price from an approved surety company holding a permit from the State of Arkansas to act as surety, or other surety or sureties acceptable to the Owner.
