ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Freeland Borough Fern Street Freeland, PA 18224 2021 Freeland Paving Project Project: # BOF2101 Notice is hereby given that the Borough of Freeland Fern St Freeland, PA 18224, will be receiving bids online via the PennBid Program, www.PennBid.net, for the, 2021 Freeland Paving Project, Specifications, bid documents, contract documents, and information for bidders can be obtained via the PennBid Program on or after February 16, 2022 4 pm. Inquiries regarding this contract must be uploaded to PennBid prior to March 9, 2022 at 3 pm. Bids must be submitted online via PennBid no later than March 16, 2022 at 10 AM. The bids must be completed on the PennBid site and include a 10% Bid Bond made payable to Freeland Borough including Surety’s Consent by a firm licensed to conduct business in Pennsylvania. Performance and Payment Bonds are required and the successful bidder is required too submit E-Verify form with the contract. The Work shall be substantially completed within 60 days from Notice to Proceed and remaining work shall be completed within 75 days from Notice to Proceed. No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 calendar days following Bid opening. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified or cashier’s check or Bid bond in the amount of 10% of the total bid price, payable to Freeland Borough, as a guarantee that the Bidder, if its Bid is accepted, shall promptly obtain the required Bonds and Insurance and shall prepare the required submittal documents and execute the Agreement. Freeland Borough reserves the right after opening Bids to reject any or all Bids. Or to waive any informality or to award a portion of the project. Bidders shall comply with the Public Works Employment Verification Act and Luzerne County Community Development Bid Documents which are a part of this bid.
