2021 Apache-Sitgreaves MSO Surveys (Mexican Spotted Owl) - Furnish all necessary materials, equipment, supplies, supervision and incidentals needed to conduct Mexican Spotted Owl Monitoring – Mexican spotted owl primary activity centers (PACs), habitat not previously surveyed using the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service survey protocol, and un-inventoried potentially suitable habitat within the Districts boundary. Survey efforts are required to comply with law, regulation, and policy. Due to the large size of the area, the limited capacity of the existing workforce, and limited time prior to implementation to meet the requirements of the MSO recovery plan and survey protocols, it is necessary to seek outside sources to assist in completing the large survey workload associated with this project. See attached Statement of Work in Solicitation.
